DTV "Nightlight" Video

This DTV "Nightlight" video explains the basics of how to upgrade to digital television, hook up a converter box, antennas and rescanning for channels. Stations must air nightlight programming concerning the DTV transition in English and Spanish, and ensure the programming is accessible to persons with disabilities. To help stations comply with these requirements, NAB's video has an English version and a Spanish version that features open captions with both languages throughout the video. Stations should run the video loops back-to-back. Each version runs approximately eight minutes.

Additionally, stations may broadcast video and audio programming with emergency information, including but not limited to a crawl or text describing the emergency and live or taped action regarding the emergency.
